To book this program, your school must have the following criteria:

School principal and every teacher must be present at the assembly

A clear definition of bullying
·         A defined set of consequences for bully behavior
·        
A reward system for positive behavior

·        
Be willing to address a large increase in bully reporting
·        
Have willing teachers or a responsible adult designated as

       the “go to adult” for each grade

·        
Teachers and adults who will listen, intervene and help care for

       the well being of each student

       Learn strategies to help in real life bully situations.

Share a student’s letter and have students write about a time when     they were the bully, the target, or bystander, then everyone write about a time when they were an everyday hero.

Teachers will lead a class discussion when writing assignment
       is completed

Stand and take the bully free pledge
·        
Become an EVERYDAY HERO

Help others being bullied

EVERYDAY HEROES stand for:

     effort, cooperation, perseverance, responsibility, patience, friendship,
     problem solving, integrity, caring, courage and common sense

Receive 1,200 EVERYDAY HERO stickers to be used during the following weeks as a reward to
      recognize students choosing to be EVERYDAY HEROES.

The Tough Kid Bully Blockers Book - Everything you need to put your school on the fast track to being bully free.  This book cost $60.00.  It was developed by Paula Ashcraft, M.S.
(Jordan School District) Julie Bowen, Ph D., William R. Jenson, Ph D. and Ginger Rhode, Ph D.  It will give your students a 15 minute assignment per week that directly relates to curriculum and bully awareness. Just open the spiral book, copy the pages, hand them to the kids and do the assignment.  Many years of hard work went into this book and now its here for the kids benefit. Click Here
